Richmond, Kentucky - Nancy Carol Goins Burruss, 82, of Richmond, Kentucky, widow of Charles Edward "Charlie" Burress, passed peacefully on May 20, 2026, in Lexington, Kentucky. Nancy was born January 15, 1944, to the late William and Dora Ratliff Goins. She worked at Square D Company and was an active member of Durbin Memorial Baptist Church, serving on the hospitality and decorating committees. She enjoyed working in her yard, especially with her roses. Her family was very important to her. She loved them and would help them in any way she could.

Nancy will lovingly be remembered by her survivors, her children: Charles Michael (Lareesa) Burruss, Missie Burruss, and Sharon McKinney; her grandchildren: Austin (Megan) Burruss, Christopher McKinney, Sara McKinney, Cory Rogers, and Alex (Amy) Rogers; her great-grandchildren, Landen McKinney, Cameron McKinney, and River Graham Burruss; her brothers, William Goins, and Dean (Gail) Goins; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in passing by her daughter, Barsha Rogers, and sisters, Katherine Cole, Jane Hale, and Gladys Goins.

Nancy's funeral service will be held at Oldham, Roberts, & Powell Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 12:00 pm. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Madison County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Michael Burruss, Austin Burruss, Porter Corum, Dustin Woods, Missie Burruss, and Sara McKinney.

In lieu of flowers, Nancy's family requests donations be made in her memory to Durbin Memorial Baptist Church, 8650 Durbin Lane, Lexington, KY 40515.
