William Thomas Roy, Jr.
William Thomas "Bill" Roy, Jr., 73, of Richmond, passed away Monday, November 18, 2019 at Baptist Health - Lexington.

He was born July 1, 1946, in Adair County, Kentucky, to Gladys Hancock Roy and the late William Thomas Roy. Bill was a self-employed electrical contractor and a retired electrician for Rockwell International. He enjoyed fishing when time allowed and he collected and restored old Farmall tractors. Bill was a member of Mt. Pleasant Christian Church.

In addition to his mother, Gladys, he is survived by his loving wife, Judy Harrison Roy of Richmond; two sons, Wayne Roy of Louisville and Joseph Kevin Roy (Michelle) of Taylorsville; a step-daughter, Michelle Daniels of Richmond and a step-son, Millard Middleton (Victoria) of Berea; a brother, Phillip Dale Roy and a continued special friend and the mother of his children, Karen Sue Roy.

He also leaves three loving granddaughters, Ashley, Lindsey, and Lauren Roy and three loving step-granddaughters, Julie Daniels, Michelle Jean Middleton and Kaitlyn Middleton.

Funeral service for Bill will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home, with Shannon Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 5 - 8 PM Friday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell.
